Join us for our ESL Welcome Event
at Waterloo Park.

Saturday, September 19th, from 11:00 – 4:00PM

Meet people; Enjoy Free Pizza; Play Games; Practice Your English.

It’s a great time to make new friends and reconnect with old ones. There will be a mix of people from our ESL Activities present.

All ages are welcome to join us. However, there is no children’s program, and children are the responsibility of their parents.

This event is free. However, if you would like to make a donation, a suggested amount would be in the $5-$10 range person.

Any donation will go to the LRC ESL fund. Ask Ray how to do this.

You are welcome to attend if you are interested in, or have in the past, attended any of our ESL Activities. 

Please also register your children if you are bringing them.

 Meet us at the location below near the ball diamonds and the animal farm.

We are expecting between 40 and 60 people.

We are not providing rides for this event. However, let us know if it is difficult for you to get there.

 If you are driving, we recommend parking in the Seagram Road Parking Lot beside the ION Station.

If you are coming by foot from the university, you may prefer to use the Seagram Road entrance by the ION stop.

As the Mediaeval Fair is being held the same day on the west side of the park, we recommend coming early to make sure you get a parking spot.

If you have folding chairs, you may wish to bring them as there are only a few picnic tables available.
