Enjoy our free English lessons!

Make new friends. Practice reading, pronunciation, idioms, conversation, and explore aspects of Canadian culture.
The classes are free, and all are welcome
to attend and invite friends. You may participate in any, or even all of these activities. Our classes are currently online due to COVID-19 concerns. However, we hope to meet in person again soon. From time to time we organize outdoor events, meals and other types of activities.

ESL Classes

Option 1 – ESL Cafe Online – Wednesday

The ESL Cafe runs from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm most Wednesday evenings. This event is mostly unstructured and is designed to help you make friends and improve your conversational skills around a different topic each week.

Option 2 – Lincoln Road Chapel Thursday Afternoon Class

The Thursday afternoon class is sponsored by Lincoln Road Chapel and usually meets from 1:30-2:45 pm. This class follows a lesson plan and has an introductory and intermediate level.

Option 3 – Friday ESL Investigative Bible Study

The Friday evening class is run by the CIF (Canadian International Friendships) team. The group was formerly known as CCF (Chinese Canadian Friendships). The group meets on Friday evenings from 7:00 – 8:15 pm. The group discusses Bible themed topics and is suitable for beginners or more advanced students, and people who are simply curious about the Bible. All are welcome.
